What we measure
Wind is the asset class where estimates hurt most. A turbine’s output depends on wind speed, direction, air density and the availability of the machine itself, and a single disputed month can stall a refinancing. Zephyra reads each turbine at the nacelle — power, rotor speed, pitch, yaw — and pairs it with met-mast and satellite atmospheric data.
The result is a per-turbine, per-interval record of what the machine produced and what the wind would have allowed.
How it works
Field units are rated for two decades in the nacelle, from Arctic onshore sites to North Sea platforms. Readings are signed at source and committed to the ledger over a resilient link, so a lost backhaul never becomes a lost interval.
Availability, curtailment and wake losses are attributed automatically, giving operators a defensible answer for every megawatt-hour that did not reach the grid.
